Instead of drawing attention to what he was looking at, he did the backstroke. Each time he kicked his feet he splashed her a little more.

Alison splashed him back as she got closer to him, and soon they were both screaming and laughing and having a good time. The laughter stopped when they heard someone clear her throat. They looked at the sliding glass doors that connected the kitchen to the outside.

There was a woman there. Alison hadn’t met her but she could see by the look in her eyes that she didn’t like the scene that was playing out in front of her.

“Alison, this is the girl next door. Her name’s Ginger. Ginger, this is my stepsister, Alison.”

Alison didn’t like her the moment she saw her tanned body and the way she was showing it off in the red bikini that she was wearing. She didn’t like the looks of her one bit as she pulled her auburn hair back into a tight bun and stared at Jake with her brown eyes.

  “Hi.” Ginger forced a smile.

“Hi,” Alison told her, not really wanting to talk with her. Since Jake knew her, Alison couldn’t be too rude.

“It looks like you’re having a lot of fun.” Ginger raised her eyebrows as she sat on the edge of the pool and smiled at Jake.

“We are. We haven’t seen each other in years. She’s going to be staying with us for a while. It’s great to catch up.” Jake nodded his head as he looked over Ginger’s body. Seeing that Ginger was staring at him, he looked away.

He had seen Ginger practically naked and never made any attempt to show her that he was interested. Instead, he stared at Alison and thought that if looks could kill, Ginger would be dead where she sat.

Jake didn’t want Alison feeling left out, so he kept his attention on her, seeing that she was upset that Ginger had ruined their good time. He splashed her until she smiled and started splashing him back. Ginger watched them for a few minutes before she joined in the fun.

Jake was throwing Alison into the water and saw that Ginger was coming towards him. He picked her up and threw her into the deep end, laughing and showing off his muscles.

Alison was having fun until she watched Ginger go underwater and swim through Jake’s legs. He laughed and did the same, only bringing his head up between her legs so that she was sitting on his shoulders when his body came to the surface.

Alison shook her head and looked off towards the garden that she hadn’t seen yet. Getting out of the pool, she took a closer look. It felt weird watching the two of them in the pool.

When Alison turned to see what they were doing, she jumped when Jake was standing right there beside her.

“What’s the matter with you?” he asked, trying to figure out why she had left the pool. He had a feeling he knew why, but he wasn’t going to call her out in front of Ginger who was still in the pool swimming from one end to the next.

“Nothing. I think I’ve had enough sun for one day,” she replied, giving him a smile as she tried walking away from him.

Just as she started walking by him, he grabbed her by the elbow and pulled her closer to him so that Ginger couldn’t hear what he was saying to her.

“Are you jealous because my head wasn’t between your legs?” he murmured, looking at her face as Alison began to blush.

He let her go with a smile on his face and watched her go into the house. He felt his heart beating rapidly against his chest.

Jake wanted to follow her into the house but he couldn’t. His father had walked outside and he knew that he had to be a good host because Ginger was still there.

“Hello, Ginger.” Jake’s father smiled at her as he sat down in a lounge chair, wearing only his black Speedo bottoms.

“Hello, Mr. Garrison.” Ginger smiled at him, waving her hand as she hoisted herself up so she could sit on the side of the pool.

“Please, call me Ted,” he told her, flashing her a smile as she stared at him.

Jake rolled his eyes. He could see that Ginger had a crush on his father. It seemed that she had a crush on any man who showed her attention. It was one of the reasons why she didn’t turn him on.

“I’m going to get something to drink. Do you want something?” Jake asked, looking at his father.

“No. Ginger, would you like something?” Ted asked her, looking over her body. He had watched her swimming in her own pool and mowing her own lawn. The only reason he never asked her if she wanted help was that he enjoyed watching her work.

“Bottled water would be good.” Ginger nodded her head, standing up and making her way to the other lounge chair. She took a towel off the back of it and wrapped it around herself.

Jake shook his head as he went into the house. He badly wanted to go upstairs to see if Alison was all right. He was sure that he wasn’t going to see her for the rest of the afternoon, and wondered what she was doing upstairs in her room.

  ***

Alison was laying on her bed. Already changed out of her swimsuit, she stared up at the ceiling. Though she was upset with Ginger being there, she had a smile on her face because of what Jake had said to her. Maybe he liked her as more than just as his stepsister. The comment that he had made to her made it sound like he wanted an answer from her, but it wasn’t as if she could tell him the truth. She didn’t want anyone thinking that she had a crush on him, and she didn’t dare to think any further than that. She didn’t dare think about saying something back to Jake.

Her smile grew wider thinking about how hot his breath had felt on her skin, the deep tone of his voice, and the way he had whispered in her ear. She closed her eyes, and before long she had fallen asleep thinking about Jake.

  Chapter 3

Jake was praying that Ginger would leave. He prayed that she would just get the hint and go away. Even so, it had been fun seeing Alison act jealous over him, knowing that they both wanted him. That was the only thing he could think when it came to Alison. She wanted him and couldn’t have him, while Ginger thought she actually had a chance to have him but didn’t even care about going back into the pool with him to play around once Alison had left.

He was staring out over the water and thinking about Alison and her jealousy, but he shook the thought out of his head. Even if she had a crush on him, it didn’t mean that she was going to act on it. She would think that he wouldn’t be interested, and even if she made a move he couldn’t very well say that he wouldn’t advance. Just the thought of pressing his lips against hers, kissing down her neck, and grabbing her tits made his cock tingle inside his swimming trunks.

“Jake!” Ted shouted, finally grabbing his attention as Jake glanced over at him.

Ginger and Ted were laughing at him.

“I said that I have to go out of town tomorrow night.” Ted raised his eyebrows at him, wondering what was going through his head.

“It’s alright. I’m used to staying home by myself, and I have Alison here so I won’t be completely alone. Besides, I’m an adult and can take care of myself.” Jake smiled at him.

“You always have me too. I’m right next door in case you ever get lonely.” Ginger giggled, getting up from the lounge chair and taking the towel off.

“I’ll remember that.” He nodded his head at her but his smile faded slowly.

“I have to get back to the house. I have to make dinner and then head out. I’m going on a date tonight, so wish me luck,” Ginger told them, though Ted was the only one who was listening.

“Have a good night, Ginger. We’ll keep an eye out to make sure that you’re home before midnight.” Ted winked at her. She giggled as she went through the kitchen and left out the front door.

“You don’t see too fond of Ginger,” Ted stated, watching as Jake sat down beside him in the chair that Ginger had occupied.

“Not really. She’s not my type, Dad. She’s too flighty, not knowing what she wants or who she wants. I don’t want to get caught up in all that drama.” Jake rolled his eyes, feeling the coolness of the evening as the sun started to go down.

  “Good. I’m glad you
re smart enough not to want to venture into drama.” Ted laughed at him, getting up from his seat.

“Where are you going?” Jake asked.

“Going to get supper started. I think that Alison might have fallen asleep upstairs. You should go check on her.”

“I’ll get her.” Jake nodded his head, sighing. He didn’t know what he was going to say to her after what he had asked her. He wasn’t sure how to approach her. The old Alison was gone who didn’t care what people thought about her. Now here was this woman, one who looked hot as hell and he couldn’t even touch her.

Jake took the stairs two at a time, and when he peeked in on Alison he could see that she was sleeping. He didn’t know if he should wake, her but he knew that his father wanted her downstairs for the first dinner at least.

“Alison,” he called from the doorway but saw that she didn’t move. She didn’t even open her eyes.

He walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed. He nudged her gently at first, and then a little harder each time.

“What?” she asked groggily and opened her eyes just enough to see who was there.

Her eyes opened wider when she saw that it was Jake sitting on her bed and staring at her.

“My dad wanted me to come up and see if you were awake. I wanted to come up earlier but I had to entertain.” He rolled his eyes and watched a smile come to her face.

“I’ll be down in a minute,” she answered softly, licking her lips and seeing that Jake was staring at her.

Jake searched her eyes but he didn’t know what to say to her.

“Great, I will let my dad know.” He smiled, getting up from the bed and quickly heading out of the room.

Alison let her breath out when he left. She thought he was going to kiss her. She thought that she would feel his soft lips on hers. When she didn’t, she felt a little disappointed.

  Chapter 4

The three of them had dinner outside on the patio. The sun was slowly going down as Alison looked around the backyard.

“I like the garden you guys have,” she said, finishing her hot dog and noticing that Jake had been looking at her all throughout dinner.

“You can add to it if you want to. I told Jake and I figured I would tell you, too. Tomorrow night I won’t be here. I have a business meeting I have to attend out of town,” Ted told her, hoping she wasn’t going to be too upset that he would be gone.

“Nice. I’m sure between Jake and me we can keep this place running.” She smiled at him and winked at Jake.

She hadn’t even realized she had done it until it was done. Looking at Jake, she could see his smile growing wide across his face.

  “We sure can.”

“I’m going to go to bed It’s getting late. I don’t mind you guys staying up late, Alison. I’m sure the two of you have a lot of catching up to do, but I would like it if you two didn’t sleep all day. That’s one of my rules in the house. You have to be up by ten in the morning,” he said as he got up from the chair he was sitting in.

“I’m up early all the time. You don’t have to worry about that.” She nodded her head, taking a sip of her water that was beside her.

“Good, then maybe you can get me up.” Jake laughed.

Alison almost choked on her water. She set her glass down and watched as Ted went into the house.

“I’m really glad you’re here, Alison,” Jake told her after a moment of silence.

“Me too. We’ve lost so much time with each other,” she told him in a soft voice, watching the sky as the stars started coming out.

When Alison brought her gaze back down she saw that Jake’s face was just inches from her own. She licked her lips, and just as she stuck her tongue back into her mouth Jake kissed her softly. He closed his eyes while she kept her eyes open. She heard him moan against her mouth as he slipped his tongue inside to tease hers.

Alison gasped and leaned back. She wanted to kiss him back, but it was forbidden. They were family.

“I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself,” he whispered, searching her eyes to see if she liked it.

“It’s alright.” She brought her fingertips to her lips.

Jake didn’t say another word as he stood up and turned to go into the house. He didn’t look behind him to see if she was following him. He had taken a chance, and when she didn’t kiss him back he felt ashamed of himself.

Alison waited another five minutes before she went into the house and up to her room. She closed the door softly and saw that it was almost eleven at night. Tired, she got undressed and slipped under the covers. She had always liked sleeping naked. It didn’t matter where she was. Turning on the television, she fell asleep to the sound of the news.

  ***

Early the next morning she heard laughter. She got out of her bed and looked out the window. There was Ginger making a spectacle of herself in front of Jake.

Ginger was dressed in a white bikini this time. Her hair was damp as she practically sat down on Jake’s lap at the patio table.

Alison shook her head and walked to her closet, remembering the kiss from last night. She tore through her dresser to find something that would look good on her, something that might turn Jake’s head in a subtle way.

She finally found a black sundress that was a little small for her, but when she put it on she saw that her tits looked great. They were pushed together and her cleavage showed nicely. She put on a pair of matching panties and let the bottom of her dress show off her thighs.

Taking a step back, she smiled at herself and saw that she looked great, even if Ginger and Jake didn’t think so.

Alison headed downstairs quickly and grabbed a bottle of orange juice to bring outside with her. When she walked out the sliding doors she saw that Jake was staring at her, his eyes wide.

Ginger had noticed her, too. She got off her chair and went to sit on Jake’s lap, putting her arms around him and laughing as she pressed her tits against his bare chest.

Jake was getting ready to tan. He was wearing one of his father’s Speedo bottoms. His back to the sun, he could feel his shoulders already getting burned.

Ginger glanced over at Alison to see if she was going to say anything or do anything about the scene in front of her.

Alison took a drink of the orange juice she had in her hand and looked over the water. She knew that if she said anything about what Ginger had done that a comment would be made about Jake. She wasn’t willing to have Ginger accuse her of wanting her own stepbrother, so she kept her mouth shut as much as it hurt. She thought about the kiss they had shared and she couldn’t believe that Jake was sitting there letting Ginger maul him.

Alison stayed outside for as long as she could before going back into the house. She had muttered something under her breath, but Jake couldn’t understand what she had said.

“I’ll be right back,” Jake stated, pushing Ginger off his lap and going through the sliding doors. He caught up with Alison on the staircase and grabbed her by her arm.

“She doesn’t mean any harm, Alison. Are you okay?” he asked. She could see the concern in his eyes.

“Yes, yes, I’m good. Go entertain your guest.” Alison rolled her eyes, pulling away from him as she hurried up the stairs and to her room, slamming the door behind her.

Jake watched her and sighed heavily. There was nothing he could do about how Alison felt. Ginger got under her skin, so he had to find a way to keep the two of them away from each other. Even if it meant that Ginger wouldn’t be able to come to the house anymore while Alison was there.

The only thing left to do was go back outside. Ginger was waiting for him and it would’ve been rude if he didn’t go back. Besides, he had a feeling that Ginger would go looking for him if he stayed in the house too long.

The rest of the day he stayed outside checking the garden, swimming and giving his attention to the sun that was high in the sky. Ginger had left an hour or so after Alison went into the house. His father hadn’t bothered coming outside
, and soon it was almost dinnertime.

Jake wanted to go up and see Alison. He wanted to make sure that she was all right. Even though she said she was, he didn’t believe her.

“I’m headed out. I think Alison is sleeping. Don’t let her sleep too long,” Ted told him, standing in the doorway of the kitchen. He had his suitcase in one hand and his satchel over his shoulder that he carried everywhere with him when he left town.

“I was thinking about waking her up now. We should eat soon. Have a safe trip, Dad.” Jake smiled.

He watched his father leave the house and started rummaging around for something to eat when he heard Alison coming down the stairs.

“Are you hungry?” he asked when she made her way to the kitchen table.

“Not really. Is that pool heated?” She looked out towards the pool. She really wanted to go swimming but she didn’t want to get in the pool if the water was cold.

“Yeah, my dad always wanted a heated pool. I can go turn it on and it will be ready in a half hour if you want to get ready,” Jake told her, quickly walking out to the pool and flipping a switch. They both heard it hum as the water started heating.

Alison smiled as he walked back into the house. Jake felt his heart melt when he looked at her. He loved seeing her smile.

She didn’t say anything as she got off the chair and hurried upstairs. Jake fought the urge to follow her. Knowing she was getting undressed, he wanted to see her body. He felt his heart racing thinking about it, and wondered what he would do if he had actually seen her naked.

  Chapter 5

It didn’t take Alison long to get back downstairs. She seemed to be in a better mood. Now that it was just the two of them he could see that she was happy. It was a bonus when he saw her come downstairs in a black bra and matching panties. They were lace and almost see-through. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her.

“I don’t have much swimwear.” She blushed, seeing that he had noticed her.
